Doctor tips for the prevention of diseases during Ramadan Umrah
There is no doubt that many prefer to
perform Umrah during the months of mercy and forgiveness (Rajab, Shaaban and
Ramadan). However, in recent years there have been many diseases that spread
through the air such as Corona, influenza, leprosy, chest diseases, Air) in
order to increase the number of pilgrims year by year in the period.
Dr. Abdul Wahab Awad, a specialist of
Thoracic and Respiratory Diseases (Rouge), said that the excesses with
different nationalities of Umrah may lead to the spread of many respiratory
diseases easily transmitted. There are certain diseases that do not show
symptoms on the patient until after the return of Umrah (tuberculosis)

Dr. Awad pointed to the most
important tips that must be followed during the Umrah period in Ramadan to
prevent respiratory diseases and chest as follows:
- You should consult your doctor
first before traveling to make sure whether you allow travel and perform Umrah
or not, especially if the person suffers from allergies or weak immunity.
- Patients suffering from chronic
diseases (such as sugar or pressure) must take the necessary measures of
vaccination and seasonal influenza vaccine and pneumonia to prevent the
infection of the enemy.
- Adherence to the timing of the
treatment of drugs for the treatment of asthma or chest sensitivity if the
person suffering from respiratory diseases.
- Stay away from smoking completely
because it destroys the chest.
- Take care to follow healthy habits
and proper steps such as (sneezing down - not spitting on the ground - refrain
from kissing and hugging in crowded places put pores on the nose and mouth).
- Personal hygiene and bathing on a
daily basis to avoid skin diseases resulting from sweat as well.
- Wear mouth and nose protection when
talking to someone while performing Umrah.
- Taking care of large amounts of
water and vitamin C to strengthen the immune system.
- Stay away from times crowded with
pilgrims.
- You should go to the nearest
available remedies in the campus when any injury and follow the necessary
instructions.
- Respiratory diseases need a period
of 7 to 21 days until symptoms appear after returning from Umrah care should be
taken and take precautions when symptoms appear (colds - influenza - high
temperature - lethargy - anorexia - nausea - drowsiness or rash) Follow the
